Job Title: Pharmacy Technologist
Location: Salgaa Town in Nakuru County

Job Description: As a Pharmacy Technologist, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient preparation and distribution of medications. You will assist in various pharmacy operations, including medication preparation, inventory management, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications.
- Measure, mix, count, label, and record dosages of medications according to prescription orders.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication histories.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and addressing concerns from patients and healthcare providers.
- Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy interns.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as processing insurance claims and managing billing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
- Must be registered and licensed with Pharmacy and Poisons Board
- Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician
- At least one year of experience working in a busy pharmacy.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, medications, and dosage calculations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
