JOB TITLE: SITES CLUSTER LEADS
REPORTS TO: PROGRAM LEADS/TA TEAMS
Sites cluster lead will be responsible for monitoring specific sites program indictors and addressing site’s gaps as identified at various program department levels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- – Responsible for keen monitoring of program indicators as assigned for every site under jurisdiction.
- – Assist in the development of suitable strategies for target achievement.
- – Actively participate in providing technical support for program implementation to ensure alignment to National policies, guidelines and strategies.
- – Participate in internal pre-CDC and quarterly CDC review meetings.
- – Timely addressing of program gaps identified during TA visits/quarterly CDC review meetings.
- – Site level monitoring of program activities to identify gaps, challenges, constraints and come up with possible mitigation measures.
- – Participate in departmental program teams to provide support on department challenges, recognize monitoring areas and recommend capacity building.
- – Participate in Sites Multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement and evaluate Strategies to improve Sites performance.
- – Support sites to refer cases failing 2nd line treatment or integrase inhibitors to the TWG for DRT approval,
- – Strengthen lab clinical interphase in the sites
- – Participate in program Technical working groups (TWGs) as required by the program
- – Strengthen systems for linkages and referral networks between Coptic facilities
- – Ensure Treatment and Prevention guidelines are being implemented with fidelity
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- – A Degree in Medicine and Surgery or Diploma in clinical in Medicine
- – Valid registration license with relevant bodies
- – One or two years of relevant work experience in HIV care, treatment and prevention
- – Demonstrated capacity and experience in capacity building and staff mentorship
- – Proficient in MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Web Conferencing Applications, information
- – Familiarity with HIV care and treatment guidelines
